Village news for Long Buckby (April 2)
FILM CLUB
Long Buckby Community Centre is looking into the possibility of starting a film club in the main hall. If you're interested in films and want to be involved in setting this up, or helping on a fundraising committee, please contact the centre on 01327 844753.
WI PUDDING TASTING
At the community centre on Monday between 6 and 8pm. Entrance costs £2 and includes two puddings and tea/coffee. There will be a raffle.
WI MAIN MEETING
At the community centre on Wednesday at 7.30pm with a talk on The Courtier and the Queen by Malcolm Deacon. Visitors welcome.
CHARITY COFFEE MORNING
On Saturday in aid of the Cynthia Spencer Hospice and the Warwickshire and Northamptonshire Air Ambulance from 10.30-11.30am at the United Reformed Church, Brington Road.
ALCOHOL AWARENESS CAMPAIGN
All parents of young people in Long Buckby are welcome to drop into Long Buckby Library any Thursday between 3.30 and 5.30pm for a chat or information on any concerns about alcohol.
