Village news for Long Buckby (April 9)
LIBRARY SPRING CRAFTS
Children from ages four to 10 are welcome to try some craft activities at Long Buckby Library on Tuesday from
2.30-3.30pm. The cost will be 50p for materials.
Phone or call in to book. Children under eight
must be accompanied by an adult.
LIBRARY EASTER QUIZ
Free Easter quiz with prizes. Call into the library to collect an entry form.
There will be two quizzes, one for adults and another for children.
LONG BUCKBY LOCAL HISTORY SOCIETY

Will holds its AGM on Wednesday at 7.45pm, followed by a quiz on local villages.
All are welcome to the
meeting at the community centre.
Visitors £2, drinks and nibbles provided.
DOG TRAINING
CLASSES

A new five-week puppy/ beginners training course starts in the village on Wednesday, April 22 at 6.30pm.
Small, friendly classes
using kind, reward-based methods.

FILM CLUB
Long Buckby Community Centre is looking into the possibility of starting a film club in the main hall.
If you are interested in films and want to be involved in setting this up, or helping on a fundraising committee, please contact the community centre on 01327 844753.
ALCOHOL AWARENESS CAMPAIGN
All parents of young people in Long Buckby are welcome to drop in to Long Buckby Library any Thursday between 3.30 and 5.30pm for a chat or information on any concerns about alcohol.
