Village news for Long Buckby (April 30)
FIREFIGHTERS
CHARITYSupport the firefighters charity by donating unwanted clothing, shoes and bags etc at the clothing bank at Long Buckby Fire Station.
SHORT MAT INDOOR BOWLS
Indoor bowling at the community centre on Tuesday and Wednesday from 10am-noon, all year round.
Come and join in – no experience needed. First two sessions free and following that the cost is £5 per year, £1.50 per session. For more information call 01327 843182.
GARDENING CLUB
At the meeting on Tuesday, May 12 at 7.45pm the speaker at the rugby club will be Roland Fox on Fungi and Truffles. Visitors welcome, £2 at the door. For more information call 01327 842004 or 842345.
LONG BUCKBY FEAST PRODUCE AND CRAFT SHOW
Will be on Saturday, August 22 (feast day itself is on August 31) in the community centre.
Schedule and entry forms are now available from the Newsagents, The Peephole and Bailey's Hardware. This year there are more classes.
