Village news for Long Buckby (May 7)
STORY TIME AT THE LIBRARY
Story/rhymetime for under fives at Long Buckby Library will be tomorrow (Friday) from 2.45-3.10pm.

TALK ON CIVIL WAR AT THE LIBRARY
An illustrated talk on the English Civil War will be given by Julie Ball, re-enactor from the Sealed Knot society, with plenty of props and costumes.
This will be at Long Buckby Library on Thursday, May 14 from 7-8.30pm.
Entrance costs £3, including light refreshments, or is free to Friends of the Library. To book a place call in at the library or phone 01327 842796.

FIREFIGHTERS
CHARITY

Support the firefighters charity by donating unwanted clothing, shoes and bags etc at the clothing bank at Long Buckby Fire Station.

SHORT MAT INDOOR BOWLS
Come and join in, no experience needed. Indoor bowling at the community centre, first two sessions free, following that £5 per year, £1.50 per session. Tuesdays and Wednesdays, 10am-noon, all year round. More information from 01327 843182.
