Village news for Long Buckby (May 21)
GRAND COFFEE MORNING IN AID OF CHURCH FUNDS
At the United Reformed Church, Brington Road, on Saturday, 10.30am-12.30pm. Stalls will include homemade cakes, bric a brac, plants, haberdashery, books and jigsaws with a raffle. All wel
come.

RUGBY CLUB DINNER DANCE
The next supper dance will be on Friday, May 29, 7.45 for 8pm, at the Rugby Club, with music provided by Robert Peel. Tickets cost £5, including supper, from Bill Mawby on 01327 842551.

DOG TRAINING COURSE
A few places remain on a new five-week puppy/beginners training course that starts in the village on Wednesday, June 3 at 6.30pm. Small, friendly class, using kind reward-based methods. Further details from DCL Dog Training, Deborah Coles on 01327 843743 or 07827 794552.

SPECTACLES NEEDED
Hand in any unwanted glasses to Long Buckby Library. This week and next week is re-use fortnight and the library is collecting glasses for Vision Aid which can reuse them abroad.
