LONG BUCKBY
RECREATION GROUND FAMILY FUN DAY
On July 11 from 11am-5pm. Entry free, but donations welcome. Colonel John Pickering's Regiment of Foote will give a demonstration of 17th century army life. There will also be refreshments, fun and games for all the family and Long Buckby Fire and Rescue will be there. Please walk if possible as Station Road has limited parking, and remember the recreation ground is a dog-free zone.

LONG BUCKBY SCHOOLS FAIR
The PTA of Long Buckby School's summer fair would like to thank all staff, governors, children and families of both schools for their help and support on Saturday. Thanks also to all local businesses that sponsored an event or donated a prize. More than £2,000 was raised, to be shared between the two schools. This event would not have been possible without you so thanks again for your continued support!

ADMIRAL RODNEY OPEN MIKE NIGHT AND RAFFLE
There will be an open mike night on Saturday from 9pm. Are you a singer, guitarist or keyboard player? Everyone welcome to come and join in. There will be a raffle at the event in aid of MacMillan nurses.

LONG BUCKBY 102nd GRASS COURT TENNIS TOURNAMENT
On July 11 and 12. The ladies' and men's doubles and men's veterans will be played on Saturday, July 11, and on Sunday, 12 will be the mixed doubles, junior doubles, mini singles, and (new event) the veterans' mixed doubles. Both days will be fun-filled family days on Long Buckby sports field with bar, teas, refreshments and a pig roast on Saturday night. Play commences each day at 10am sharp.
