ST LAWRENCE'S CHURCH FUN FETE
This will be on Saturday, noon-2pm in the church and church grounds. Stalls include refreshments, cakes, bric a brac, books, plants, tombola, second hand items, and there will be lots of fun and games f
or the children (and adults) to try, including pottery smashing and bun decorating. Come along and enjoy these and all other activities and entertainments.

LONG BUCKBY RECREATION GROUND FAMILY FUN DAY
On Saturday, July 11, from 11.30am - 5pm. Entry free, but donations welcome. Colonel John Pickering's Regiment of Foote will give a demonstration of 17th century army life. There will also be refreshments, fun and games for all the family, and Long Buckby Fire and Rescue will be there. Please walk if possible, as Station Road has limited parking, and remember the Recreation Ground is a dog-free zone.

LONG BUCKBY 102nd GRASS COURT TENNIS TOURNAMENT
On Saturday, July 11 and Sunday, July 12. The Ladies' and Men's Doubles and Men's Veterans will be played on Saturday 11, and on Sunday 12 will be the mixed doubles, junior doubles, mini singles, and (new event) the veterans' mixed doubles. Both days will be fun-filled family days on Long Buckby sports field, with bar, teas, refreshments, and a pig roast on Saturday night. Play commences each day at 10am sharp. LONG BUCKBY FEAST
Another reminder to start planning for the craft and produce show on Saturday, August 22 - rules and entry forms now available from Buckby Newsagents, Baileys and The Peephole. There are more classes this year. Closing date for entries is Friday, August 14, but you need to start planning now. Pick up details of the children's events so they can start thinking and get creating in time. And of course, the craft and produce show is only the start of a week of activities culminating in Feast Day on the Square on Monday, August 31. More details in this column later.

SATURDAY MARKET
Long Buckby Country Market will be holding a special Saturday market on Saturday, July 11 from 2-4pm in the garden of 45 Brington Road.
