Village news for Preston Capes (August 7)
VILLAGE HALL 100 CLUB
This month's draw was held on Sunday and the winners were: First – Penny Eves, second – Cyril Hayes and third – Bill Dearns.

This was the last of the 23 monthly draws. Numbers for the next 12 months will be
on sale at Saturday's cook out, or you can just renew your current numbers – phone Sylvia Brookbanks on 01327 360945.

Please note, numbers will not be entered in the draws until fully paid for.

VILLAGE HALL COOK OUT
If you have not already done so, please order your tickets for Saturday's cook out by tomorrow (Friday). See pink flyer (or village website) for full details. Tickets will only be issued when paid for – no ticket, no food!

BELLRINGING
The Daventry branch of the Peterborough Diocesan Guild of Bellringers will be holding its branch meeting at Preston Capes on Saturday.

Following ringing at Fawsley at 2.30pm, they will ring at Preston Capes at 3pm.

This will be followed by a short church service at 4.30pm, then tea and the meeting. They will then be moving on to Litchborough for evening ringing at 6.45pm. Please order your tea by phoning Sheila Bull on 01327 361395.
