Village news for Preston Capes (March 12)
CHURCH SERVICES
Sunday, 10am, holy communion at Preston Capes. Monday, 6.30pm, evening service of the world.
Sunday, March 22, a special Mothering Sunday family service will be held at Preston Capes church – more details next week
.

MOBILE LIBRARY
The mobile library will be visiting the parish on Tuesday March 24 at: 1.55pm at
Little Preston and 2.30pm
at Preston Capes (Church Way).

PARISH COUNCIL
This month's parish
council meeting takes place on Tuesday at 7.45pm in the village hall.

ANNUAL VESTRY AND PAROCHIAL CHURCH MEETING
This will now be held in the village hall at 7.30pm on Wednesday (brought forward one week from original date of Wednesday, March 25).
All adult parishioners are invited to attend and may vote in the elections for churchwardens.
However, only those parishioners on the church electoral roll are eligible to vote during the second part of the meeting – the parochial church council AGM.

Saturday, March 21 –
WI coffee morning and cake sale.
Friday, April 24 – PCC cheese and wine.
Saturday, May 9 or 16 –
village hall event (TBC).
Sunday, June 7 – NGS open gardens.
Sunday, July 12 – village fete.
Saturday, August 15 – village hall cook out.
Saturday, December 12 –
village hall children's Christmas party.
