The new term began with elections for Year Six heads of house, who form the school council, and their deputies from Year Five.
Darcie White and Katie Gregory were re-elected for Emerald House, Jacob Seeney and Ryan Smi
th for Amber House, Jordan Hinsull and Ben Turtill for Ruby House and Billy Davidson and Georgia Biggs for Sapphire House. Congratulations to them all.
The whole school spent a week taking part in activities based on 20th century art movements and learning about famous and not so famous artists.
The school has been awarded Activemark again this year for its levels of PE and extra-curricular sport provision.
After-school clubs this term include drama, science, football coaching and imagineering (engineering with staff from Cummins).
Another group of Year Six children have begun their bell ringing lessons at St Mary's Church and Class Three has begun weekly singing lessons with a specialist teacher.
