SCHOOL NEWS
Darcie White in Year Six organised a pyjama day for Comic Relief on Friday.
Children and staff made a donation to wear their night clothes to school for the day. In addition to the money raised by tipping baked beans on Mrs Evans, the school raised about £200.
The school also hosted a production of The Wizard of Oz by the M&M theatre company. This was very much enjoyed by all the children, except a couple of little
ones who were scared of the witch!
The Year Three and Year Four children opened their traidcraft shop last week.
Every Friday the shop will be open to parents, children and local residents from 3.15-4pm at the front of school.
The children have chosen to sell a range of foods, including tea, coffee, pasta, muesli, dried fruits and snack bars.
All the products support small-scale producers across the world and everyone is very welcome to come and see what is on offer.
