Village news for Staverton (March 26)
SCHOOL NEWS
On Thursday last week the children in Year Three and Year Four spent the day at the Royal Theatre in Northampton.
The children met the cast and crew of The BFG. They spent the morning in workshops with the actors, touring the scenery department and finding out about costumes and music for theatre productions. Many children thought it was the best trip they had ever been on!
Class Three's weekly Traidcraft shop opened on Friday last week after school.
The children have named their business Trade Toppers and they will be open from 3.15-4pm every Fridays in term-time. Best sellers so far are cookies, geobars and muesli.
