Village news for Staverton (April 30)
SCHOOL NEWS
The school was awarded the Eco-Schools Green Flag award last week. This is the top European award for schools that covers a whole range of green issues.
Congratulations and thanks to all the past and present members of the children's eco committee and all the parents who have helped them.
The Year Five and Six children planted potatoes in their vegetable area last week to hopefully provide enough baked potatoes for a lunch for the whole school in the autumn.
