Ram-raiders drove through the shutters of the Heart of England Co-operative store in Wellesbourne stealing a quantity of cigarettes.
Police were called to the store in Loxley Close at 5.35am yesterday, Thursday September 13, where they found the stolen red Nissan Bluebird with its engine still running.

The vehicle had been stolen earlier from Valetta Way.

After entering the store the thieves, believed to be three males dressed in black, stole the cigarettes and made off in another car, also believed to be red.

Police in Shipston would like to hear from anyone who witnessed the incident or has any information which would help them with their inquiries.

Anyone with information is asked to telephone 415000 or CRIMESTOPPERS anonymously on 0800 555111.
