THIS Christmas beloved pantomime Sleeping Beauty will be returning to Coventry’s Belgrade Theatre and Nanny Knot is on the lookout for some courageous men to join her on the main stage and assist with a surprise for the princess.

The damsel in distress is appealing to the people of Coventry and Warwickshire to nominate the men in their life to join her onstage alongside other characters such as Josh the Jester, Muddles and Fairy Azuriel.

The show, running from Wednesday until January 5, tells the story of a princess cursed to sleep for 100 years only to be awakened by her one true love.

The (un)lucky men nominated won’t know anything about the stunt until Belgrade’s dame comes to find him during the show - so this is the perfect opportunity to play a joke on a friend, wind-up a dad or stitch up a friend.

Anyone who knows a good sport who would be brave enough to lend a hand to Nanny Knot on stage can nominate them by emailing their name, along with the time and date of the performance he will be attending, to Steve Cressy at scressy@belgrade.co.uk with ‘Panto Nomination’ in the subject line.
