Enjoy Warwick Castle carols on Saturday

More than 650 tickets have been sold for a Christmas carols concert at Warwick Castle tomorrow (Saturday).

The castle's director of music Tom Coms said: "We will be encouraging everyone to participate on the night, led by BBC presenter Annie Othen, the choirs of St Mary's church and the Royal Spa Brass Band. Our plan is to give everyone who attends a real boost before Christmas, and the singing audience can keep their strength up with hot food, mulled wine, mince pies and chestnuts."

Tickets to the event, which starts at 7.30pm, are 6 in advance, 8 on the door and free for under-12s. They can be purchased from Warwick Castle, the Warwick Tourist Information Centre in Jury Street or Claridges of Warwick in Market Place. Alternatively, visit www.carolsatwarwickcastle.co.uk

All proceeds will go towards charities supported by Warwick Lions Club, The Rotary Club of Warwick and the Friends of St Mary's Choir.
