Now the band members, aged between 25 and 27, say their musical dreams are finally coming true.

Lead singer Wil Russell, 25, said: “We have always dreamed of playing Godiva and now we are, sharing a stage with none other than Bob Geldof.

“The reception we get in Europe is always amazing, but performing at home always means so much to us. We all grew up around Coventry, seeing gigs at local venues and watching Godiva each year. To know it’s going to be us on the stage is a great feeling.”

Wil, Chris, James and Ross formed the band six years ago and started rehearsing in local practice rooms alongside studying music at Warwickshire College.

Since then they have been dubbed as “brilliant” by Kerrang and Classic Rock Magazine said: “Any band which disregards boundaries and thinks one step ahead deserves the attention of any self-respecting rock fan.”

The band- who are inspired by the likes of Muse, Massive Attack, Pink Floyd and Radiohead - are currently working on the last of three consecutive EPs, for which they practise and pen new songs for a minimum of 15 hours a week.

This is alongside their full-time jobs - Wil and Chris as music teachers, Ross as a music technician and James running his food van JP’s Kitchen.

Wil said: “It is hard work and long hours but we all love what we do and music has always been our passion.”
