Hatton ballet dancer Clarissa Griffin is celebrating after winning a place at a prestigious ballet school.
The eight-year-old has been a pupil at the Oakley School of Dance in Leamington for two years and has been awarded one of 15 places on this year's Royal Ballet School Junior Associates programme in Birmingham.

Clarissa, who attends Warwick Preparatory School, auditioned alongside 300 dancers to win her place and will start weekend lessons at the Hippodrome in September.

She currently practises at the Westbury Centre in Westlea Road, Leamington, four times a week. She said: "I am very happy. Dancing is an activity I can do well and I enjoy."
