Cuban salsa group Habanaloko are putting on a free festival of Latin music and dance in Leamington.
The event, at the Pump Room Gardens on August 22, will showcase talented performers from South America and Cuba.

Guests can experience Latin cuisine and live salsa and samba music.

Habanaloko director Karel Duvergel said: "Our main objective is to welcome as many people as possible to Latin American culture - to let them share the energy and passion.

"They can immerse themselves in the live music, dance and atmosphere of the festival and most of all have fun."

Performance and dance classes will be available throughout the day.

More than 125 stalls offering crafts, clothing and produce will represent both continent. The event starts at noon and will run until 6.30pm. A latin fiesta will follow at Evolve nightclub in Spencer Street from 10pm where further classes will be available.

Tickets for the later event will be available on the day for £15 or in advance for £10. Proceeds will go to the Cotton Tree Children's Trust which helps street children in Sierra Leone.
