Impressed shoppers bought a Warwick musician's album off the strength of hearing her play a short gig in Leamington.
Singer-songwriter and double bass player Kel Elliott performed for a crowd at Head record store in the Royal Priors on March 17.

And as Kel and her band did this her record How Could I Resist was being sold in the shop to her newly acquired fans.

The 29-year-old from Woodloes, said: “It was a bit weird playing in a shop but I had a good crowd.

“A few people I knew had come along but then shoppers stopped to listen as well. Some of them even bought my album off the strength of seeing me.

“Someone commented that they thought my music sounded as good as being on CD. It all went well and I have been asked to come back.”

Kel played at the exclusive music venue The Bedford in London on Wednesday where she was told music industry scouts could be watching her.

Her next show is at the Punch Bowl in Warwick on April 10 and she is due to perform at Warwick Folk Festival in July.
