Published Date: 11 April 2008
Leamington's Loft Theatre Company has cancelled its next studio production, Skylight by David Hare, due to illness.
The theatre's artistic director Gus MacDonald said: "The decision to withdraw Skylight was taken after a long discussion with the play's director. We both felt that with the inability to rehearse properly so close to the first night, the production wouldn't be ready for performance in front of an audience. This was obviously unacceptable and there was no other alternative but to cancel.”

Skylight may be staged next season. The play was due to run from April 15 to19.

Patrons holding tickets should contact the box office on 426341 for a refund or email ad@loft-theatre.co.uk
