Nudity and the sounds of the sixties return to the Talisman next week when the theatre presents a stage version of one of the era's best known films.
The Graduate not only underlined the ability of the young Dustin Hoffman, it also caught the mood of the decade.

Eight years ago the 1967 film was adapted for the stage by British playwright Terry Johnson Kathleen Turner was the first actress prepared to bare all as the predatory neighbour Mrs Robinson.

Production director Tim Willis said “great music” and an adaptable set make the Talisman a good setting for the play about a young man and his love affair with an older married woman.

Mr Willis directs his wife Kate in the role of Mrs Robinson, but will not reveal how much flesh will be on show - saying only “The play does contain scenes of an adult nature including smoking on stage, but as to the nudity, let’s just say the front row is sold out.”

The Graduate runs from tomorrow (Saturday) to April 19. Performances start at 7.30pm. For tickets call 856548.
