Devoted Simpsons fan Catherine Murphy is jetting off to the USA thanks to her amazing knowledge of her favourite show.
The 27-year-old, of Masters Road, Whitnash, beat five other contestants during a phone-in quiz that ran on Mercia FM each evening last week.
The competition coincided with the launch of The Simpsons Movie and entrants were tested on their knowledge of the popular cartoon to see who is the number one fan in the Midlands.
Miss Murphy, who works at Murphy's Bar in Leamington, said: "I had tickets to go and see the film on Friday night but I had to sacrifice them as it was the final round of the competition. When I heard about the competition on Monday, I think I texted in about 30 or 40 times. I won the first round that night and then had to defend my title until the end of the week.
She added: "To be fair, the questions were really really easy - they asked things like 'who is Bart's arch enemy?' which of course is Sideshow Bob. I could have told them that Kelsey Grammar from Frasier provided his voice as well."

Among her prized possessions are a number of DVD box sets, which she has had to import from China, as they are not yet available in the UK.

"There are so many good episodes that I don't have a favourite one, but I do like the Hallowe'en specials.
"My favourite character is Homer because he doesn't care what he does and he's so stupid and funny. Marge must be the best wife in the world having to put up with him."
Miss Murphy's prize includes two tickets to America where she will visit Washington DC, New York and Boston during the ten days.
She also received 400 dollars spending money and a Simpsons donut maker all on behalf of Fox, the show's broadcasting network.
Miss Murphy said: "It's a great prize and it will be a once-in-a-lifetime experience.
"The donut maker is brilliant as well but I won't remove it from the box so I can add it to my collection."
