A pop-up Post Office will open in Leamington's town hall in Thursday (August 13).

The Post Office said it will provide an interim solution while major building work takes place at the normal Leamington Spa Post Office location.

The branch has been closed since Wednesday June 23 due to roofing and internal repairs that will take about six months to fix.

Post Office has been working with Warwick District Council to find a suitable temporary location for Leamington Spa Post Office - and they have found space in the town hall.

The town hall will have two pop-up Post Office counters. The opening hours will be Monday to Friday: 9am – 5pm.

The service will include mail services, withdrawals, deposits and payments and bill payments.

Mat Wilkes, Post Office change manager, said: “We apologise for any inconvenience caused by the temporary closure of Leamington Spa Post Office due to extensive repair work

required.

"We are very grateful to Warwick District Council who helped us to provide an interim solution. We thank the council for providing space for a pop-up Post Office at the

Town Hall.”

In the meantime additional alternative Post Offices are at Clarendon Street and Sydenham.
