West Midlands medical service scoops £30,000 investment

Concierge Medical, which provides its expert services in Derbyshire, Warwickshire, Oxfordshire and the Cotswolds, picked up the prize, awarded by the Richardson family, at the Asian Business Chamber of Commerce Diwali event in Birmingham last week (November 20).

The New Venture award, provided by the Richardson Brothers Foundation, supports small to medium enterprises across a range of sectors with a direct and co-investment programme.

Based in Oldbury, the Richardson Brothers Foundation was established in 2006 to support groups, associations and individuals in the Midlands. The New Venture award is now in its second year.

Concierge Medical provides its services to around 1,800 patients and has recently expanded into Derbyshire, offering a seven day, home-visiting GP service and a return of the ‘old-fashioned’ family-doctor relationship.

Concierge Medical beat four other finalists for the investment, including manufacturing technology firm Composite Braiding and food businesses Green Sisters and Family Secret.
