University of Warwick named as the best in the West Midlands - and tenth in the whole country
The list has been put together by The Times and The Sunday Times Good University Guide 2021
The University of Warwick has been named as the best university in the West Midlands - and 10th in the country - according to The Times and The Sunday Times Good University Guide 2021.
The guide provides rankings for UK universities and describes itself as the most comprehensive overview of higher education in Britain.
The top ten for the West Midlands is:
1. University of Warwick
2. University of Birmingham
3. Harper Adams University
4. Aston University
5. Coventry University
6. Keele University
7. Staffordshire University
8. Birmingham City University
9. University of Worcester
10. Newman University
This year's report profiles on 135 universities and will be published this weekend in The Sunday Times (September 20).
The academic league table is made up of nine indicators including student satisfaction with teaching quality and their wider student experience, research quality, graduate prospects, entrance qualifications held by new students, degree results achieved, student/staff ratios, service and facilities spend, and degree completion rates.
