Antibody tests for Covid-19 are being carried out in the Warwick district.

It is a blood test to check if you’ve had coronavirus before which is not widely available yet.

Jayne Atkins of Phlebotomy Services will be carrying out a clinic tomorrow (Tuesday September 1) in Kenilworth and on Thursday (September 3) in Leamington.

Jayne Atkins.

She said: "I am a Warwickshire phlebotomist of 20 years’ experience, I never thought I would be being asked about antibody tests for a virus that has changed so many lives.

"Currently unavailable on the NHS, I have spent a lot of time researching different labs, tests, and costs for those prepared to pay for a test privately.

"I have now teamed up with a first-class lab that I can work with directly.

"Providing we get the right numbers booked into clinics, they have agreed to continue to keep our testing costs down."
