Santa will be touring the streets of Kenilworth - but in a Covid-safe manner of course.

Kenilworth Round Table has been told it can go ahead with its annual Santa float event throughout December.

Chairman Stuart Greenwood said: “We’ve worked with the council to ensure Santa is Covid safe and are delighted to get the go ahead.”

"There will be some changes this year, to keep everyone safe. Santa will not be able to stop to say hello, but he will be waving and Ho-Ho-Ho-ing, and he hopes you will make lots of noise and wave back.

"Please do not approach the sleigh or the helpers, remember the government rules, keep a distance from people of other households and do not gather in crowds."

Kenilworth Round Table will not be knocking on doors this year, so please listen out for the music as the sleigh makes its way around.

The sleigh will try to stick to the advertised routes, but, more than ever this year, events might mean this is not possible.

As the Fireworks display was cancelled, this is the only fund raising activity the Round Table will do this year, so the Round Table is asking people to please give generously.

Santa and the Round Table team would like to add special thanks to Robins and Day Peugeot Coventry for providing a car to pull the sleigh.

Kenilworth Round Table endeavour to complete all roads on the dates advertised, however we may not be able to complete routes due to reasons beyond our control. If possible, roads missed will be covered on a different night. Please note that the listed roads are not necessarily listed in route order.

Routes will commence between 5.30pm and 6.30pm.

They aim to complete all routes by 8.30pm
