A barn fire in the early hours of the morning forced Warwickshire Police to close Europa Way, causing serious traffic problems for commuters during rush hour.
The fire broke out in Cottage Farm at around 3:30am, and three sets of fire crews attended the scene.
Western Power engineers were also present due to the close proximity of power lines to the fire, although they have not been affected.
The decision was taken to close the road in both directions as crews had to access a water source from the other side of the road.
A fire crew is still at the scene but it is thought that the bulk of the fire has been put out.
It is unknown how long the police will keep the road closed.
