Beekeepers were called when a swarm descended on a car parked outside the Kenilworth supermarket.
The small swarm of bees alarmed shoppers when they landed on the vehicle in the town centre.
A pest control company was called by worries shoppers but a beekeeper was later able to safely migrate the creatures.
They were moved into a basket before being taken away and found a new hive.
Pest control workers said the sight was “fairly common” at this time of year as honey bees swarm to set up a new hive during the spring time - often finding temporary places to stop on their way.
Advice is that the bees will not be dangerous at this time, people should contact a beekeeper rather than pest control workers if they see a swarm.
