Bubbly fundraisers were in a rush to help children's hospice
More than 1,000 foamy fundraisers descended visited Hatton on Saturday to raise much-need funds for Acorns Children's Hospice.
The Acorns Bubble Rush event, held at Hatton Country World, involved ‘Bubblers’ running, jogging or walking around a 5km course through a sea of frothy bubbles.
The fun-filled family event was held to raise vital funds for life limited and life threatened children and support for their families across the region.
Sarah Bowron, events manager for Acorns said: “It was an awesome day and such a spectacular sight to see hundreds of people of all ages run through a field as bubble-cannons showered them with multi-coloured foam.”
There was a party atmosphere on the day as participants took part in fancy dress and set off in four separate waves.
After the event all fun-runners were given discounted entry to Hatton as a ‘thank you’ for taking part.
