Young chocolatier will kick off big FSB networking event

Chrissie Duxson of the Federation of Small Businesses discusses their upcoming third annual B2BExpo due to take place on January 13.

With only a month until one of the biggest networking events in the business calendar we are delighted to confirm our top class speakers.

To kick off the event we have secured 21-year-old entrepreneur, chocolatier and conservationist Louis Barnett, who became the youngest ever supplier to Waitrose at 13, Sainsbury’s at 14 and Selfridges at 15. His chocolates are distributed to many delicatessens and retail outlets throughout the UK. We are sure Louis will inspire and enthuse you and is one not to be missed.

Next up we have a series of seminars starting with raising your profile in a crowded market, where Sandra Garlick of De Marco Solicitors will share her tips and tactics on how to raise your profile, stand out against your competition and gain new customers.

This is followed by the opportunity to learn theatre techniques to enhance your presentation skills. Justine Themen, associate director at the Belgrade Theatre will lead the interactive workshop and get you up out of your chair.

To finish off the morning you can learn how to use the magic of questions to get more buyers to say yes. This session will be hosted by Elinor Perry, the MD of Pentlands Accountants & Business Advisers, who will provide wisdom on how to get buyers says yes to your proposal, your offer or your products.

To start the afternoon you can learn how to create a social media strategy that works. Sarah Gorev of Social Media Spice and Zoë Russell of ZHR Marketing, will run a joint workshop to show you how aligning your social media plan to your marketing strategy makes it more effective.

Finally, in advance of the general election in May 2015, you can join us for a political hustings. This will be your chance to hear the main political parties talk about their priorities that support the business community.

The event will start with a networking breakfast sponsored by CW Clearing House, and will host a wide range of exhibitors. All seminars and debates are free of charge but we recommend that you book to secure a place. Visit
