Cannabis found growing in Lillington home.

A man has been arrested after police discovered six large cannabis plants growing inside a property in Lilington.

Officers executed a drugs warrant at a property in Buckley Road on Wednesday afternoon where “a large quantity” of the class B drug were removed, as well as growing equipment found nearby.

A 28-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of the cultivation of cannabis. He has since been released on bail until February 1.

A Warwickshire Police spokesperson said: “Police successfully seized a large quantity of cannabis from a property in North Leamington on January 6.

“Six large cannabis plants were found along with growing equipment, all of which have been seized and destroyed.”
