Officers are appealing for help track down a passenger after a chase just outside of Warwick on June 23.

During an ongoing incident, a Peugeot 307 was flagged down by officers on foot patrol near to a park off Malthouse Lane at around 5pm.

The car failed to stop and sped on, before hitting a hedgerow where it came to a stop.

Two people from inside the car then got out and fled the scene on foot.

A police search tracked one suspect down to Small Lane - but an appeal is now out to help find a second occupant of the vehicle.

Officers said the crash, and way the vehicle was being driven before it was flagged down, were witnessed by a number of other drivers and passers-by who might be able to help with investigations.

Police are especially keen to speak to one member of the public who spoke to officers earlier that afternoon to point out which direction the car was headed in.
