Cars stolen in burglaries in Southam and Warwick


Police are investigating car key burglaries in Southam and Warwick which were reported yesterday (Wednesday).

The first was reported just before 4.30pm and happened in Stowe Drive, Southam.

Offenders forced entry into the rear of the property and stole keys to a silver Subaru Imprezza which they then stole.

Two high value watches and other jewellery were also stolen.

The vehicle was later located in Coventry by use of a tracking device and has been recovered.

The second incident was reported just after 11.30pm last night and happened in Bolingbroke Drive, Heathcote, Warwick, where offenders had also forced entry through the rear of the property.

Keys and a Jaguar XF were stolen.

Officers would like to hear from anyone who witnessed any suspicious activity in either location yesterday, or has any information which would help them with their enquiries.
