- A 20-year-old man from Birmingham was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence of cannabis following a routine traffic stop in Warwick Road, Lapworth on Thursday night. The passenger – a 17-year-old boy from Hinckley – was also arrested on suspicion of possession of class A drugs after the officers seized cocaine. Both suspects were released under investigation while enquiries continue.

- Officers on patrol in Bedworth arrested a 19-year-old man from Nuneaton after stopping his car in Marsden Lane in the early hours of Friday morning. The man was later charged with drink driving, driving without a licence, driving without insurance and taking a motor vehicle without the owner’s consent. He will appear at Coventry Magistrates’ Court on 20 April.

-A 36-year-old man from Birmingham was arrested in Hallowell Way, Rugby in the early hours of Saturday morning after officers reported seeing a car being driven erratically. He was later charged with failing to provide a specimen, driving without insurance and driving without a licence. He will appear at Coventry Magistrates’ Court on 23 April.

- A volunteer officer from the Warwickshire Special Constabulary arrested a 52-year-old man from Nuneaton after he found him slouched across the front seat of a car in Watling Street, Nuneaton on Saturday afternoon. He also seized a knife. The man was arrested on suspicion of drink driving and possession of a knife, and later released under investigation while enquiries continue.

- A 29-year-old man from Bedworth was arrested in Wootton Street, Bedworth in the early hours of yesterday morning after a car allegedly failed to stop for police. He was later charged with drink driving, driving without due care and attention, driving while disqualified, driving without insurance, failure to stop and driving without a valid test certificate. He will appear at Coventry Magistrates’ Court on 16 April.
