Officers from the Warwickshire Police unit OPU (Operational Patrol Unit) made the arrests early this morning, Friday January 22.

The arrests were made after police responded to an Audi with cloned number plates. The Audi failed to stop for police and was pursued from Warwick to Darlingscott (near Shipston) where three people were arrested.

Officers with Warwickshire Police OPU posted a message on their Facebook page, which said: "The vehicle has been involved in crime across four different police force areas and the occupants may be with us for some time! The Audi was confirmed as stolen from a burglary in Thames Valley."

No other details were immediately available.
