Draft proposals for improvements to the Pump Room Gardens have been completed - and are available for residents to see and comment on.
The plans and illustrations, put together by the Friends of the Pump Room Gardens and Warwick District Council, will be on display at the Tourist Information Centre in the Pump Room on Friday April 17 and Saturday April 25; and at North Lodge, by the main entrance to Jephson Gardens, on Saturday April 11 from 11am to 3pm on each day.
The proposals are based on suggestions by the public and professional advice from experts in historic parks and gardens. Local residents are invited to come along and inspect the detailed plans and talk to those involved with the project, before the proposals are submitted to the Heritage Lottery Fund for final approval.
Archie Pitts, chair of the Friends Group, said: “These are exciting proposals that will hugely improve the appearance of the Pump Room Gardens and create a valuable amenity in the heart of Leamington.”
