More old oak trees were felled near Leamington to make way for the new HS2 line.

It is thought that the tree in this video on the Fosse Way was about 300 years old - and a few more are expected to be be knocked down as workers clear the path for the high speed rail project.

Campaigners said that the trees are teeming with wildlife and the destruction is 'completely unnecessary'.
