Firemen called to rescue girl from swing

A 12-year-old girl had to be rescued by firefighters after getting stuck in a swing in a park near Whitnash.

Firefighters and paramedics were called to the park off Spa View at around 9.30pm on Thursday where theyy found the girl trapped.

The girl was freed with no reported injuries, but checked by ambulance staff as a precaution.

A spokesperson from the Warwickshire Fire and Rescue Service said: “The girl was freed Firefighters assisted the ambulance service in freeing the child from the swing.

“The child was left in the care of the ambulance.”
