Football match boosts Leamington teacher's London Marathon goal

Sydenham Primary School teacher Jon Lee organised a charity football match to raise funds in support of his London Marathon run on Sunday.

On Saturday he organised a charity football match to help boost the fundraising efforts, and is seen with his team mates, including the youngest participant Isaac Crow 9, before the kick-off.

Mr Lee’s daughter Sophie Grace and his niece Teagan were both born with down’s syndrome last year and Mr Lee is taking on the challenge in aid of the Down’s syndrome association and also the ups of Down’s Leamington support group.

Mr Lee and 20 of his friends - took part in the game at Myton School on Saturday.

Pupils at Sydenham also made donations to a sponsored cycling machine challenge which teachers took part in.
