Volunteers are still needed to help out at this year’s Leamington Peace Festival, which takes place at the Pump Room Gardens next weekend (June 14 and 15).

There are a number of roles available - and everyone who volunteers will receive a free Peace Festival T-shirt and vouchers to spend on food and drink throughout the weekend.

The two-day event, now in its 35th year, will include the usual array of live music and dancing, vegetarian food, talks, workshops and stalls - and new this year, the Peace In Action forum, during which speakers from local organisations will speak and onlookers will vote for which one they think is most deserving of ongoing support from the festival for the next year. Organisers have introduced the forum in response to suggestions that the ideology of peace being the focal point of the festival has become sidelined in recent years.

Anyone interested in volunteering is asked to contact Vikki by emailing
