A driver was rescued from her car after getting stuck in flood water in Lapworth on Thursday daytime.
Flood warnings have now been issued after the car was driven into deep water near the Old Boot Inn before getting stuck.
The female driver was then rescued by firefighters with the help of a village good Samaritan in a 4x4 vehicle.
A spokesperson for Warwickshire Fire and Rescue Service said: “We advise anyone to avoid driving through flooded areas, even if it looks safe to do so.
“On this occasion the driver escaped unhurt, but flood water can be very dangerous, so it’s really not worth the risk.”
