Hatton man charged after incident at Warwick pub in March

A young man has been charged with causing grievous bodily harm without intent following an incident at a pub in Warwick in March.

Sean Edwards, 20, from Hockley Road, Hatton, will appear before magistrates at the Warwickshire Justice Centre in Leamington on Wednesday October 14.

Police were called to an altercation at the Elephant and Castle in Emscote Road’s smoking area on March 27 at 11.45pm.

A 30-year-old man from Warwick was unconscious and was taken to University Hospital Coventry and Warwickshire by ambulance having suffered a serious head injury.
