Kenilworth and Leek Wootton residents invited to Good Friday walk

Kenilworth and Leek Wootton residents are invited to come together on Good Friday (March 14) to take part in the annual Good Friday walk.

A procession bearing a cross will start from St John’s Church in Warwick Road to arrive in Talisman further up the road at 10.45am.

A 30 minute service will then take place in the square, with sermons, hymns and drama.

After that, the cross procession continues to Abbey Hill, where the cross is erected. There will be further hymns and prayers until 11.35am.

The procession then finishes at the United Reformed Church in Abbey Hill where refreshments will be served.

All churches in Kenilworth and Leek Wootton take part in the event.
