Crowds gather at last year's Good Friday walk in Abbey Hill

A procession bearing a cross will start from St John’s Church in Warwick Road to arrive in Talisman further up the road at 10.45am.

A 30 minute service will then take place in the square, with sermons, hymns and drama.

After that, the cross procession continues to Abbey Hill, where the cross is erected. There will be further hymns and prayers until 11.35am.

The procession then finishes at the United Reformed Church in Abbey Hill where refreshments will be served.

All churches in Kenilworth and Leek Wootton take part in the event.
