A team from ESH Works who support family members of people with substance misuse problems took on 21 locks in one day.

Their plan was to attempt the task of taking a narrowboat up and down Hatton’s locks. CEO of ESH Works, Paul Urmston said: “There is still a big stigma attached to addiction problems, so by staff and volunteers promoting and publicising the event we can hopefully make everyone aware of the problem that families face and the fact that we support them in confidence.” For more information telephone 01926 889356.
