Live music and more for Arts Fresco

A night of live music and other entertainment is taking place tonight (Friday) in Market Harborough to raise money and awareness for next month’s Arts Fresco street arts extravaganza.

Guitarist and singer Guido Maibaum will be playing live at Joules Yard, off High Street, and the event will also include a screening of film footage from last year’s Arts Fresco event from the Harborough Movie Makers group.

There will also be a barbecue and raffle with proceeds from the night helping towards the costs for the big Arts Fresco event, taking place this year on Sunday, September 6.

Tickets for tomorrow night’s event cost £10 and are available from the venue.

“It will be a chance to get ready for the event, and have a fun time as well,” said Arts Fresco committee member Sarah Hill.

Arts Fresco returned to the streets of Market Harborough last year for the first time since 2010.

It is the biggest event of its kind in the Midlands and attracted 6,000 people last year.
