Sion Simon, an MEP for the West Midlands and former MP, spent a couple of hours talking to shoppers in Talisman square and The Square about why he and Labour wants the country to stay in.

He said: “The farming community here benefits hugely from EU membership,” and he also claimed that Jaguar Land Rover might invest less in Warwickshire if Britain left the EU.

The referendum takes place across the country on Thursday June 23.
