Pensioner had purse snatched in Aldi

Warwickshire Police have this week released an image of a man wanted for questioning after the theft from Aldi on Queensway on May 14.

The victim was shopping in the supermarket around midday when a man took her handbag from her trolley while her back was turned.

He is thought to have covered up the theft with a box, and walked into another aisle before putting the purse in his pocket, putting down the box and leaving the shop.

Anyone who can identify the man pictured is asked to contact police so he can help with inquiries.
