Paralympic hero Nigel Murray has said being made an MBE is recognition not just for himself but for the sport he loves and the people who have always supported him.

The boccia player who won gold medals at the Paralympic Games in Sydney and Beijing and won a team bronze at his final games in London this year, met the queen at a ceremony at Buckingham Palace last week. He wore a gold tie in honour of his beloved Leamington FC.
